Due to recent technical difficulties, undefeated (6-0) and #1 ranked No Punt Intended didn't get the "press" they deserved after taking down both Dirty Sprite and Bully Birdz this session to earn their #1 ranking. The No Punt guys have always been a solid team and they've really put it together on both sides of the ball this session. That doesn't change the fact they've quietly clinched the #1 seed in the upcoming GOLD Playoff Tournament for the first time in....well, it's been awhile. The offense never quits and the defense is making big plays in big situations. That's proven to be an unbeatable combination during the regular season and will serve them well in their attempt to add to their championship history.
Dirty Sprite

2
Dirty Sprite won a doubleheader this week shutting out Pullout Kings 33-0 in the first game and then held off the Bully Birdz with a tough 15-14 win in the second game. Dirty Sprite has been inconsistent recently at the QB position but unveiled a new QB this week that just may be a season changer for them. I'm just saying.....
Bully Birdz
2
3
The Bully Birdz split their doubleheader this week cruising past Practice Squad 42-7 in the opener and falling 15-14 to Dirty Sprite in the nightcap. The 1 point loss to Dirty Sprite just may have set up a playoff match between these two heated rivals in the GOLD Tournament. Any game involving these two is rarely as entertaining as the trash talk before, during, and especially after, their games.
Bud Knights
4
4
Bud Knights dropped a close one 24-21 to the Yellow Jackets falling to 4-2 on the season but by winning back-to-back Silver Championships and putting more points on the board this season they've definitely stepped up a notch this year. They're not quite GOLD playoff ready yet but look for them to be a favorite to 3-peat in the Silver.
Yellow Jackets
5
5
The Yellow Jackets move to .500 on the season (3-3) winning a 24-21 battle with Bud Knights. This team struggles every week to get enough bodies to play but usually finds a way to be competitive. If Player/Coach John Nichols can scrape up enough bodies, maybe this will be the season they erase a whole lot of bad playoff memories
Jaguars
6
6
Falling to 2-4 with a 20-19 loss to the Pullout Kings it's been a disappointing season for the Jaguars. That could all change quickly for them in the playoffs if the Jags find any semblance of their former selves. Don't bet against Pat finding a way to spur his team back to their winning ways.
Pullout Kings
7
7
The Pullout Kings got shut out 33-0 by Dirty Sprite in their first game of the night and were staring overtime in the face against the Jaguars in their second game when Trevor "Happy-Face" Matthew literally blocked a game tying kick with his face. A high leap to block an extra point, coupled with a low line drive kick, resulted in Happy-Face's face taking one for the team and preserving the 20-19 win. I'd tell Trevor not to get a big head about it but with all the swelling, it's obviously too late for that. There's more than one way to keep your head in the game!
The Other Guys

The Other Guys get their second win of the season 17-12 over winless 4th & Drunk in a game they had won but tried to give back by needlessly throwing a pick in the last minute of the game. Hey, they held on and a win is a win. It doesn't have to be pretty. This new group has certainly impressed me by showing up and competing every week despite the fact they all come from the Lansing area. Hell, we've got Waterford guys that can't, or won't show up every week. They look like they're having a great time and I wish them well in the upcoming playoffs.
Practice Squad
8
9
I knew the final score wouldn't be pretty when I saw that Practice Squad was playing the much stronger Bully Birdz and at 42-7, it wasn't. To their credit, that didn't stop the over-matched Practice Squad from competing until the final whistle. Their 2 wins this season are a well earned improvement over recent seasons and who knows? They might even have another win or two when it's all over.
4th and Drunk
10
10
4th & Drunk made a bid for their first win of the season but fell short 17-12 to the Other Guys. New teams always struggle and this team is no different but given their schedule, I really thought they'd win a couple of games. The playoff tournaments have a history of lower level teams winning their brackets and maybe, just maybe, 4th & Drunk will sober up just enough to pull off an upset or two.
