Any Last Thoughts? I played professional
teatherball in the Kingdom of the Netherlands
for 7 years and will give a free ice cream to
any camper (Or Coach Dave) who beats me 2 out
of 3 games. (7)

Camps Taught: I
am more of an intellectual... as is obvious from
my picture... I am either under the tent molding
our future Rocketeers and Scientists or I am out
on the Ropes Course helping to navigate the dangerous
Peanut Butter River.

Would You Do? I always wanted to do Rock Climbing
Camp... but... illusions camp would be sweet...

I thoroughly enjoy starting water wars with Magic
Camp on weeks that I have the privilege to guide
the Adventure Ropes Camp!

I would want to be in Car Town. Though I am way
to big to fit in one of those cars I would purposely
hit Coach Kevin.
Any Last Thoughts?
Parents should know that every counselor here are
the coolest and obliviously the slip and slide is
the best. They could also come and watch the annual
ice cream eating contest during zempke camp

Favorite OYA Lunch? Nachos
If You Could Do Any Camp, Which Would You Choose?
Easy, airplane camp because we get to fly real airplanes...or
wakeboard camp because we don't have it yet and
wakeboarding is
super sweet. Also, archery camp because it actually
exists and my bow hunting skills are unmatched.
What Is Your Best OYA Camp Memory? One time
at joke time, some of
the campers actually laughed at my joke. It was
pretty sweet.
Any Last Thoughts? I'll be spending the first
half of my summer in Wyoming conducting
field experiments in the Grand Tetons for my current
Environmental Geological Science major. I am also
a Psychology major, so I can basically read campers'
minds. When it comes to marker tattoos, I specialize
in flowers and rocket ships.

Car town looks like a good time. My parents would
never buy me one of those cars when I was a kid,
so it would be amazing to finally get a chance to
drive one!

Anytime we play capture the flag with all the camps
it is a great time! :-)

of Legos for over thirty years so now I can build
the tower of pizza with my eyes closed with only
one toe. I was a camper at OYA since they first
opened and loved it so much that I never wanted
to leave. I'm still here, for real, I sleep in the
dome and live off dino nuggets.

If You Could Do Any OYA Summer Camp Which One
Would You Do? If there was a slip n slide plus
a joke and story time camp, I would do that for
sure... of course only if the raptor and Coach Kevin
are there. But, I guess since there isn't one treasure
hunting camp will have to do.
What Is Your Favorite OYA Camp Memory? Either
when Coach Kevin and Coach Steve were my prince
charmings for the princess parade or anything from
zemke week last year.
Any Last Thoughts? The only way to have a
fun summer is to come hang out with all the sweet
Oakland Yard Camp Counselors. |

I mean, who doesn’t want to fly a plane?!?!?!!!
What is your favorite OYA Camp Memory?
Last year during one week of Forensic Camp, I
was the criminal while my brother was the counselor.
It was a very enjoyable experience.

Favorite OYA Summer Camp Lunch: We all know
our favorite food is Hungry Howies pizza on Fridays
If you could do any OYA Summer Camp which one
would you do? And why? Wilderness Exploration.
I've liked the idea of trekking into the woods/wilderness
and fending for myself for a few days, and I've
not had the chance to to it.
What is your favorite OYA Camp Memory? When
Coach Dave (the magician) picked me as the volunteer
for a show one Friday and burst a large water balloon
over my head (he was paying me back for my Ropes
Course campers spraying him with water). |

been coming here forever, but have only been working
since last summer

Favorite OYA Summer Camp Lunch: Dino Nuggets,
without a doubt
If you could do any OYA Summer Camp which one
would you do? And why? I would choose any camp
where I’m not sitting around the whole time.
I like running around and being outside, so any
sport camps, or other activities where I’m
either outside or moving around.
What is your favorite OYA Camp Memory? They happen
all the time, I don’t think I could pick just
one.
Any Last Thoughts.. I’m a Harrison Hawk
of Farmington Hills and I graduate next spring.
I am the Captain of my school’s varsity soccer
team, and I have been a captain of my varsity wrestling
team since the end of my freshman season. I also
am the kicker for the football team and I play lacrosse.
I had gone to OYA for the summer camps for around
3 years until I started staffing the camps.
